13/04/2009: Petra Mechurova – first woman ever to win the AIPP Grand Trophy
Bologna, April 13 2009 – The Czech hairstylist Petra Mechurova was crowned absolute champion at the last edition of the AIPP Grand Trophy becoming the first woman to win the most coveted award in the hairdressing industry worldwide.

19/09/2008: Paris celebrates the 2008-2009 AIPP Awards Winners!
Paris, 18 September 2007 --- The 2008-2009 AIPP Awards Ceremony was held on Saturday, 13 Sep at Theatre La Cigale (Paris), honouring the artistic achievements of four internationally acclaimed hairstylists: Claude Tarantino (France), X-Presion (Spain), Thomas-Armin Mathes from Tom Co. (Germany) and Petra Mechurova (Czech Republic).
The AIPP is an association that assembles 69 professional hairdressing publications from 33 countries around the world.
