23/04/2010: X-Presion (Spain) grab their first AIPP GRAND TROPHY at Cosmoprof Worldwide 2010

Bologna, April 18th 2010.– The Spanish hairdressing team X-Presion, made up by Jorge Cancer, Jose Almendral and Marco Antonio Restrepo, was crowned absolute champion at the last edition of the AIPP GRAND TROPHY 2009-2010, becoming the youngest hairstylists to win the most coveted award in the hairdressing industry worldwide.

Paris, 19 September 2009 --- The 2009-2010 AIPP Awards Ceremony was held on Sunday, 13 Sep at the prestigious Espace Cardin (Paris), honouring the artistic achievements of five internationally acclaimed hairstylists: François Mazeau (France), Desmond Murray @ Atherton Cox (United Kingdom), Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck @ Toni&Guy (United Kingdom), Jean Claude Aubry (France) and X-Presion (Spain).

13/04/2009: Petra Mechurova – first woman ever to win the AIPP Grand Trophy

Bologna, April 13 2009 – The Czech hairstylist Petra Mechurova was crowned absolute champion at the last edition of the AIPP Grand Trophy becoming the first woman to win the most coveted award in the hairdressing industry worldwide.

Paris, 18 September 2007 --- The 2008-2009 AIPP Awards Ceremony was held on Saturday, 13 Sep at Theatre La Cigale (Paris), honouring the artistic achievements of four internationally acclaimed hairstylists: Claude Tarantino (France), X-Presion (Spain), Thomas-Armin Mathes from Tom Co. (Germany) and Petra Mechurova (Czech Republic).

13/04/2007: Robert Lobetta takes the AIPP crown at Bologna

Bologna, 1st April 2007 - Applauded by the fervent public at the awards ceremony within Cosmolounge (Cosmoprof), the legendary Robert Lobetta personally accepted his award as outright winner of the AIPP Grand Trophy 2006-2007. Lobetta, one of the icons in the history of hairdressing, came to Bologna especially from Los Angeles (USA) to take part in the AIPP Trophy event, increasingly considered to be one of the most prestigious prizes in the international hairdressing world.

22/03/2007: AIPP Grand Trophy 2006/2007 Winner Announced!!!

We’re delighted to finally announce that the overall winner of the AIPP Grand Trophy 2006-2007 is... ROBERT LOBETTA (USA)!!! With a total of 12 votes, Robert is the outright winner but he faced stiff competition, particularly from the second place runner-up, X-Presion (Spain) with 8 votes. Third place goes to Jason Kearns (Canada), with 5 votes.
