Dear AIPP Members,We’re delighted to announce the AIPP AWARDS 2008-2009 FINALISTS!!!
This year we've got a new stunning participation record, having received 258 photo collections from 23 countries from all around the globe!!!
Finalists' entries can be judged by the AIPP magazine members from now on in our website until August 29th, 2008.
You only have to connect to www.aipp.net, go to the 'Grand Trophy Area' and access the '2008-2009 Edition: VOTE NOW!' section. To view the images click on any participant's name, and after viewing them all, click next to your selections & then click SUBMIT VOTES at the end of the list. You must select one collection from each category. (If you don't remember your login+password, don't hesitate to ask answering this e-mail).
Finalists' Collections High Resolution Pictures are also available for download in our website from now on (only for Editorial use).
The 4 winners will be announced in September: Best Commercial Hairdressing, Best Avant-Garde Hairdressing, Best Men Hairdressing & Best Photo (as for the new category, Best Video, the AIPP Jury Commitee decided to postpone the votation until Cosmoprof 2009, while we expect to get more entries within the next months).
The AIPP AWARDS 2008-2009 Ceremony will take place Saturday, 13 September (6:00 pm) in Paris during Mondial Coiffure Beauté, where the winners will be honoured at the opening of the prestigious TRIBU-TE SHOW ('La Cigale' Theatrum - 120 Blvd Rochechouart - Paris 18ème).
We also take the opportunity to announce you that the next AIPP General Assembly will take place in Paris – during the Mondial Coiffure Beauté, Monday September 15th. In this sense, after this 4 year-period, we will hold there the election of the President of our association. For those who would like to apply for the President election, please send us your application accompanied by a short biography. All AIPP member magazine editors with more than 1 year seniority are electable to be President.
Last but not least, shortly you will receive the AIPP 2008 Membership Fee Annual Invoice – which I kindly ask you to pay as soon as possible to help the smooth running of the association.
